Welcome to team 1086 Blue Cheese Robotics scouting database. Within you will find all your scouting needs.
If possible it is best complete the system in this order: on practice day your team should be working on the pit sheet, which allows your team to get a general idea of the completion and allows for all of the teams competing to meet your team. On the first day of qualifiers the focus should be the collection of the data for the database thus allowing your team to prepare for matches using the database as soon as information is placed within the "RAW DATA" tab.
Contents:
Pit Sheet (recommended groups of two)
Robot Info: This section is used to get a general idea of what the robots can do
Kicker: This section allows you to collect information about the specifications and type of kicker the robot may have.
Game Play: This section enables scouts to collect information about th teams' basic strategy
Notes: This is a place to store any miscellaneous information about the robot or team.
Stands Sheet (recommended seven people; one person for each robot on the field, and one to record information in this database)
Zone Section: The zone section allows collection of most of the information required for the Excel sheet. The document is intended to be printed and used for each individual team during a match. Afterwards, it can be consolidated into the database.
Autonomous: Have you ever heard that a picture is worth a thousand words? Scouting is no exception. This section allows you to map out what a team did during the autonomous period.
Excel Sheet
Team Search: This section allows you to search the data in the “RAW DATA” section. You are only able to change the information in the yellow cell to protect the integrity of the formulas.
Regional Search: The "Regional Search" tab enables the team to search an entire regional at a time for Offense, Defense, and End Game Points.
RAW DATA: The first step when using the database is to find the desired regional (there are two blank slots that allow you to add regionals as necessary). All the information from the Pit Sheet and Stands Sheet can be entered in this tab.
