Jr. FIRST LEGO® League (Jr.FLL) is a hands-on program for elementary students age 6-9. It is an entry level introduction to the principles of FIRST. Each year there is a new real-world challenge for the team members to solve using research, critical thinking and imagination.The challenge consists of two parts, a model built of LEGO bricks and elements incorporating a motor and simple machine and a poster showing what the team learned over the course of the season.
How can my child join a Jr.FLL team?
While FIRST does not create teams, there are a couple of options to find a team for your child to join. You can register with FIRST TeamUp to connect with others looking for teams or team members. You can also start your own team. It only takes 2-6 team members, a little bit of time and a whole lot of excitement.
